John Cleary is an associate for MSP Recovery Law Firm, Mr. Cleary was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, and relocated to Miami to attend law school. Mr. Cleary attended the University of Cincinnati earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. Thereafter, he attended Saint Thomas University School of Law wherein he earned his Juris Doctorate.
While attending St. Thomas University, Mr. Cleary had an internship at the United Nations, working for Pax Romana, the International Catholic Movement for Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, a Non-Governmental Organization that spans across five continents. At the University of Cincinnati, Mr. Cleary interned at Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP, working primarily in its’ Government Relations practice.
While attending the University of Cincinnati, Mr. Cleary became an active member in the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, and the College Mentors for Kids volunteer organization. At Saint Thomas University, Mr. Cleary became a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, eventually accepting the position of Justice for his third year of law school. Mr. Cleary is still very active in community involvement. Mr. Cleary is a mentor for college students who are interested in attending law school, as well as, the Assistant District Justice for the South Florida Region of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and serving on the board for the Miami-Dade Alumni Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
