Honorable Bronwyn C. Miller currently serves in the civil division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court. She has served the community from the bench for the past twelve years. Judge Miller received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law and B.A. from Barnard College at Columbia University. Prior to her appointment to the bench, she was a prosecutor at the Miami-Dade County Office of the State Attorney. There, she served as a Division Chief in the Felony Unit and Training Director. Judge Miller was responsible for the training of approximately three hundred prosecutors and prosecuted capital cases, tried over eighty cases to verdict in the circuit and county courts and served as an adjunct professor at Florida International University. Judge Miller has served as a faculty member at Florida’s Conference of County Judges, New Judges College, and the College of Advanced Judicial Studies. STATE COURT CIRCUIT JUDGE THE 11TH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT OF FLORIDA, MIAMI-DADE COUNTY The Honorable Bronwyn C. Miller has worked with children in the community through both the “I Have a Dream Foundation,” Take Stock in Children, and the Communities in School Mentoring Program. Judge Miller serves on the board of directors of Chapman Partnership, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Big Brothers Big Sisters Women’s Committee. Judge Miller is currently a member of the Cuban American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, the Miami Beach Bar Association, and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers. She is the co-author of “Authentication of Digital Photographs under the Pictorial Testimony Theory: A Response to Critics,” Florida Bar Journal, and “Prosecutorial Ethics: Beyond a Reasonable Doubt,” The Prosecutor. Judge Miller has been published in “The Hispanic Pulse” and has been featured on Cheryl Mizell’s “Community Voices” and various other radio programs as an expert in the area of domestic violence. Judge Miller has received many awards including: the Alan R. Schwartz Professional Excellence Award, the Judge Steve Levine Award, the “Outstanding Woman in Government” Award, Millennium Movers “Celebration of Urban Professional Women” Mover and Shaker Award, the Women Who Rock Award from Federated Stores, The Conference of County Judges Leadership Award.

She is married to Maury Udell, an attorney specializing in civil litigation and they have three children together.
